(1 block east of Cottage Grove Avenue @ 62nd street)Dates: 7/24/14 – 7/26/14Times: 9am – 5pmThe Nigerian Consulate New York will be in Chicago, IL from 7/24 – 7/26 to conduct an ePassport Exercise. Everyone that is in need of a Nigerian ePassport is highly welcomed; however those that have completed and submitted their applications will be attended to first. Individuals and families who have submitted their application are strongly advised to attend the first day. Please plan to spend a number of hours at the venue so plan accordingly especially for your children. All applicants including babies are required to be present since you are coming for the biometrics part of the exercise.

Items to bring with you
a. Old passport for verification

b. Copies of submitted documents

c. $60 POST OFFICE MONEY ORDER (administrative fee) per applicant payable to: Consulate General of Nigeria New York. If you are paying as a family one money order will suffice

d. Stamped priority or express mail envelope only. If you are using one envelope for your family, you are advised to list the names on a sheet of paper and insert it inside the envelope.

Lost Passport Applicants
In addition to items b through d you are required to bring a $370 POST OFFICE MONEY ORDER (penalty fee) per applicant payable to The Consulate General of Nigeria New York.

Applicants: New applicants and Expired passport holders

Visit the New York Consulate website at www.nigeriahouse.com or http://www.immigration.gov.ng/ and follow the outlined steps.
